MIAMI, FL, December 2, 2009 – Today America’s Emergency Network, Inc. announced that it has retained MediaTech Capital Partners LLC, the New York-based merchant bank, as strategic advisor and investment advisor to AEN to assist with the financial and transactional requirements to support AEN’s national rollout. MediaTech’s managing partner, Porter Bibb, announced this new assignment today and called AEN a critical public-service multi-media broadcaster with significant economic development potential. “We are pleased to assist America’s Emergency Network in its effort to expand from the premier hurricane crisis-management broadcaster to a full-fledged public safety and emergency network, streaming video briefings available to anyone with an Internet connection on any kind of public safety issue, whether a natural disaster like hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes or major catastrophes like fires, explosions, or other disasters, including Homeland Security situations.”
